Three Conditions

Counting the steps of assembly in a finished object we have, let us say, learned to do. The question with which the last chapter ended was about something else: what has to happen for these steps to start being taken by themselves?

The answer, or rather half of it, was given by Tibor Gánti, a Hungarian, a chemical engineer by training, a theoretical biologist by vocation and a man who was badly unlucky with his language.
